Autumn Kaleidographs
“Autumn Kaleidographs” is a series of photographs taken by Catherine Pinal with the aid of a child’s toy kaleidoscope. Fallen leaves become abstract, reveal texture, and are transformed into something other-wordly.
While the images are digital, they have not been digitally manipulated as Catherine aims to convey the immediacy of the moment; to draw the viewer into the capture and creation of a photograph.
